Saucey Tape Files

We are excited to introduce you to our latest sample loop project: Saucey Tape Files.

Packed with innovative melodies (custom samples), it offers the opportunity to quickly realize yourself musically. The samples were created especially for this project and also refined by an analog tape recorder (Tascam 424 Portastudio) with tape saturation and tape pitch. This process gives Saucey Tape Files a special vintage / lofi touch. We hope that with this project can inspire you to get creative with the samples yourself.

Production Process

As children of the late eighties, we can still remember old cassettes and recorders well and have certainly maintained a nostalgic love for this medium. For this reason we want to dedicate a sample pack to this topic: Saucey Tape Files

We got an old Tascam 424 Portastudio tape recorder and started working with it. The idea was to run all loops through the tape recorder and modify the sound with the help of the natural tape saturation and the pitch. We recorded the samples first on tape and ran them back thru further compression back on the computer to edit, mix and master them.
