ProducersOnTheRun Vol. 7: Hawaii

We’re excited to bring you the 7th installment of the popular “Producers On The Run sample pack series: “Vol. 7: The Hawaiian Sample Pack”. The idea behind this project was to capture a piece of the musical identity of Hawaii and to combine it with our own flavor. We traveled around the island O’ahu to collect as much impressions as possible to finally bundle them all in this sample pack. It comes with tons of aspiring melody loops, innovative percussion sounds as well as vocal samples and smacking drums!

Production process:

In September 2019 my brother, SVRN and me startet our trip to Hawaii. We travelled around the island of O’ahu to record all kind of audio material and visuals. The recordings took place at several places like beaches, waterfalls, trails and cliffs. We also recorded traditional instruments like the Ukulele and the Steel Guitar. We combined these field recordings with melodic elements to create custom samples that transport the Hawaiian vibe.
