On the occasion of our five-year anniversary, we decided to go to the beginning of our journey and dig up and re-issue an all-time classic: Artsy Trap Drums Vol. 1

 

Released in 2015, it marked the beginning of our career as sound designers and we received a lot of positive feedback from the producer community. The mixture of field recordings and 808 samples and the resulting unique sound impressed many producers around the world and paved the way for many more projects for us.

Artsy Trap stands for an artistic approach and the intention to give back individual sounds to the community.

Production Process:

Artsy Trap Drums Vol. 1 impresses with its unique sound and its versatility. The concept was a fusion of classic and proven 808 samples and natural sounds which were recorded using mobile recorders (Zoom h4n). These recordings took place in a wide variety of locations, such as in a subway, in a basement and in the forest. Furthermore, these recordings were processed, mixed and provided with effects in the post-production process to make sure they’re crisp and clean. This classic Drum Kit has been remastered according to the highest quality standards and also contains a few new sounds.
